BIG MONEY INFILTRATES DOWN BALLOT CAMPAIGNS

DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES ARE GETTING FLEECED

Direct mail remains an vital component of local elections.

In the past, candidates have hired a consultant to manage their direct mail campaign.  The consultant bundled their fees in with the cost of designing, printing and postage, arriving at an average cost of $120,000 per local candidate direct mail campaign.

The cost of direct mail campaigns is one of the factors that forces candidates to search out big money for their campaign.

WE HAVE THE TOOLS TO CREATE BIG CHANGE

RMC AND OPENPROGRESS.COM HAVE SOLUTIONS THAT CAN HELP KEEP BIG MONEY OUT OF VIRGINIA POLITICS

By eliminating the expensive and un-trackable consultant fees,  sourcing alternate Union printing and mailing services, and offering graphic services at a low-bono price we can cut direct mailing  costs for democratic candidates almost in half, meaning each candidate needs to raise $50,000 less in campaign contributions.

Our partners at Open Progress have already identified a new printing and mailing service and are organizing candidates campaigns.

RMC is stepping in to solve the graphic design problem.

Here’s the deets:

  • We are asking each member of our team of designers to choose a candidate. (check them out below)
  • Each campaign needs 10 direct mail pieces that combine photography and copy – which  will be provided by the campaign – as well as complementary Facebook ad assets.
  • We expect this to take a maximum of 30 hours and are paying a low-bono flat rate per campaign.
